The works in their respective categories shall be assessed by a 7-person Jury, made up of architects and urban planners.
1. Mr Romuald Loegler (Poland) - Chairman of the Jury
Mr Romuald Loegler – architect, practicing professional and lecturer. He is also the publisher of the well-established architectural monthly “Architektura & Biznes” and lectures at many architectural academic schools, among others Białystok University of Technology, Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Kraków University, Lublin University of Technology.
He is a member of the Saxon Academy of Art (Sächsische Akademie der Künste); he worked as a juror in many Polish and international competitions; moreover he is a winner of many national competitions (circa 80) and international ones (circa 10). Among them are many prestigious public buildings such as Jagiellonian Library, Philharmonic Hall in Łódź, Opera in Kraków, Nordbahnhof in Berlin.
Among his completed buildings there are: academic schools, colleges, banks, churches, commercial and service complexes and housing estates.
His designs were frequently published both in Polish and foreign books and magazines, such as “World Atlas of Architecture”, “Encyclopaedia of European Architecture” (Paris), “Register of World Architects” (Japan),
“Domus”, “Bauwelt”, “Arkkitehtilehti”, “Deutsches Architektenblatt”, “Architektura i Biznes” and many others. He participated both in solo and team exhibitions in Poland and worldwide (South Korea, Venice, Dresden, Berlin, Paris etc.). He was also awarded many prestigious prizes both for the entire oeuvre and for his buildings, such as: Honorary Award of the Association of Polish Architects, Fritz Schumacher Prize of the Alfred Toepfer Foundation F.V.S. (Hamburg), Award of the Minister of Infrastructure for the outstanding accomplishments (Poland), awards for the best building and other awards.
2. Ms Marta A. Urbańska (Poland) - Seminar Reporting Judge
Dr Marta Anna Urbańska – Polish architect, critic and historian of architecture. She studied at the Cracow University of Technology and Städelschule – Hochschule der Künste in Frankfurt on Main. Her doctoral dissertation was devoted to Maciej Nowicki and still remains the broadest work on the subject. She published over 150 essays and has written, edited and translated several books on recent architecture, culture and art. She is an Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Architecture, Cracow University of Technology and lectures extensively in Poland and abroad. She led many conferences, field trips, design workshops and conducted research and surveys regarding Polish historic architecture in the eastern borderlands of Old Poland, now in the Ukraine. She is a member of the Association of Polish Architects, College of Competition Judges and the National Chamber of Polish Architects.
3. Mr Piotr Lewicki (Poland) - Exhibition Reporting Judge
Mr Piotr Lewicki (born 1966) – Polish architect, is a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture, Cracow University of Technology (1990, doctoral thesis 1999). Since 1988 he has worked in partnership with Kazimierz Łatak; in 1995 they established the Biuro Projektów Lewicki Łatak, today a well known architectural practice and winner of many awards. These awards include most notably the Kraków designs such as Heroes of the Ghetto Square, Cracovia Centennial Sport Hall, the Kazimierz–Ludwinów pedestrian and bicycle bridge. The Heroes of the Ghetto Square also received a honourable mention in the European Prize for Urban Public Space competition (Barcelona) and the Gold Award in the Urban Quality Award competition (Frankfurt am Main). The firm's Corte Verona building received the Grand Prix in the Beautiful Wrocław competition for the best design of the year, honourable mention in the national Award of the Year, and was a finalist in The Life in Architecture contest.

Mr Peter Butenschøn (born 1944 in Oslo) – Norwegian architect, urban planner and publicist. Cambridge University (MA), Georgia Tech (M.Arch), Harvard University (M.Arch).

5. Mr Giovanni Multari (Italy)
Mr Giovanni Multari (born 1963 in Cosenza) – Italian architect, teaches architectural design at the Department of Architecture, University of Naples "Federico II".
In 1995 he founded corvino + multari with Vincenzo Corvino, a practice based in Naples and with offices in Milan.
Tutor in national and international workshops, curator of exhibitions and books, member of crits, scientific and jury committees, he was honoured twice the European Prize "Luigi Cosenza" (2000, 2003) and the Premio Centocittà (2001). The Pirelli Tower restoration in Milan awarded him the Gold Medal for Italian Architecture (2006) and the European Aluminium in Renovation Award (2007). He took part in several conferences (Milan, Rome, Naples, Turin, Florence, Graz, Krakow, Warsaw, Paris, Berlin, London, New York); projects and works have been featured in solo and group exhibitions and published in architecture magazines such as Casabella, Abitare, Domus, Area, d’A, Concept, World Architecture.
6. Mr Claudio Nardi (Italy)
Mr Claudio Nardi (born 1951) – Italian architect, graduated at the University of Florence.
As well as having many architectural achievements, Claudio has designed interiors, furniture and a range of products for renowned Italian manufacturers (Dolce & Gabbana, Gianfranco Ferré, Valentino, Tod's, and Luisa Via Roma).
He has an evolving fascination for both new and traditional materials and an understanding of the importance of the use of light in good design. With his meticulous eye for detail, he produces solutions which are always highly sensitive to their function and to their location.
His architectural work, both in Italy and internationally, includes cultural, civic, hospitality and residential projects. His design for the Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow, built around the former Schindler factory in Krakow, won much international acclaim including "Barbara Capocchin International Biennial Architecture Prize for Architecture 2011" and "Dedalo Minosse International Prize to the Client in Architecture 2011".
Among recent projects there are New Town Hall in Krakow, Publishers Headquarters, Apartments Building and Riva Lofts Hotel in Florence, the building of Port Authority in Marina di Carrara, Vertex Tower and Office Building in Amman (Jordan), as well as many private residences.
He is a regular visiting lecturer at universities both in Italy and abroad, and his work has been presented in a number of prestigious publications. Claudio has won numerous architectural competitions and prizes. Since 2014 he is Professor, Academic Correspondent at Academy of Art and Design of Florence.

1. The Prizes shall be awarded on the 16th of October, in the evening hours, during the closing ceremony of the Biennale.
2. The Prizes shall be awarded to the Biennale participants whose works have been selected by the Jury.
3. The Biennale financial prizes in the Competition of Completed Designs shall be awarded in the following amounts:
• 1st Prize - PLN 12 000.00
• 2nd Prize - PLN 8 000.00
• 3rd Prize - PLN 5 000.00
4. The Biennale financial prizes in the Competition of Conceptual Designs shall be awarded in the following amounts:
• 1st Prize - PLN 12 000.00
• 2nd Prize - PLN 8 000.00
• 3rd Prize - PLN 5 000.00
5. The Biennale financial prizes in the Competition - Seminar shall be awarded in the following amounts:
• 1st Prize - PLN 10 000.00
• 2nd Prize - PLN 6 000.00
• 3rd Prize - PLN 4 000.00
6. The Biennale Organisers, in consultation with the Jury, reserve the right to an alternative allocation and award of the prizes, as well as to granting, whenever deemed appropriate, the honourable mentions.
7. The Biennale prizes may either be handed over during the actual announcement of the competition results, or transferred directly into the respective winner’s bank accounts, although not later than within two weeks of the official announcement of the competition results. The amounts indicated in the Items 2, 3 and 4 are to be construed as gross. All prizes are subject to statutory taxation in line with general principles.
8. It also falls within the prerogatives of the Jury to award a one-off, special Grand Prix MBA Kraków 2015 accolade to one of the 3 top winning works - entrants in the aforementioned Biennale Competitions.
